SnapshotHub allows you to control how users search and view photos in your galleries. With the Main Search Filters feature, you can enable or disable powerful filtering options to customise the viewing experience — especially useful for schools and large events.
1. Go to “Manage Event”
- From your SnapshotHub dashboard, go to Galleries.
- Select an event and click Manage Event on the gallery you want to share.
- In the left-hand menu, select “Manage Search Filters”
2. Toggle Your Filters
Use the toggle buttons to enable or disable:
- Date Filter: Let users filter images by date
- Face Filter: Enable facial recognition-based search
- Force Face Filter: Restrict access to only show images after facial search
- Bib Filter: Useful for sports or events with bib numbers
4. Save Settings
Once your preferred filters are set, click Save to apply the changes.
Notes
- Force Facial Recognition adds an extra layer of privacy by hiding all images unless a face search is performed.
- Some filter options are only available for paid plans.
- This feature is especially valuable for schools or privacy-sensitive events.
